Victory Baptist Church was started on November 15, 1952 with 36 charter members.  D. E. Avery was the first pastor at Victory.

The present auditorium was built in 1967.  Victory Christian Academy was started in 1971 under the leadership of the late Pastor Estes.

Victory Baptist Church has been fulfilling its purpose of spreading the Gospel on the north side of Jacksonville for over 60 years now.  By God’s grace, we look forward to doing the same for as long as He tarries His coming.
